This can be installed with sound bar installation for the perfect home theatre setup. SD Installs will connect your TV subscription too or set up your Catch up TV apps so you’ll be ready to watch whatever you want, when you want it.

Digital Aerial Installation & Aerial Repair Services

SD Installs specialise in supplying and installing 5G-filtered digital aerials using only galvanised brackets and alloy masts – no rust stains on your brickwork or rendering. All installations are digital meter aligned for the best possible signal and reception. We also repair existing aerials, add extra points, and fit bird spikes. Fully insured and trained to work at height, we handle the hard work so you don’t have to. Having issues with your current system? Freesat & Freeview Installation

Upgrading to Freesat or Freeview is no trouble. I’ll make sure you’re good to go with the full range of channels. I’ll always check your aerial or satellite dish alignment too so you’re getting the strongest, clearest signal possible in your area.

Wall Mounting Services

Enjoy a modern TV viewing experience. I’ll make sure your TV is properly supported with the right fixings so you don’t have to worry about it falling down. All cables are carefully concealed too so there’s nothing spoiling your view. Our Services include Chopping out the plasterwork, concealing cable in Conduit or trunking and re-plastering to a smooth finish, ready for re-decoration. If you have a studded or drylined wall then its possible to conceal the cable behind these without disturbing your existing decoration.

Sky / Satellite Dish Installation

SD Installs provide installation of any of the latest satellite systems, including Sky, Freesat or free to air Satellite installation for European channels Such as German, Italian or French.  All satellites dishes are precisely aligned once fitted to give you the best signal possible. SD Installs carry out repairs and installation to Fixed or Motorised satellites so you can enjoy uninterrupted viewing of hundreds of channels. Dishes can be installed on either a gable end wall or side wall close to the Tv, but sometimes due to line of sight issues or trees blocking the signal then they may have to be installed on a chimney or Further away but SD Installs will always install as discreetly as possible.

Netflix / Amazon Prime /Smart TV installation

Get up and running with the latest entertainment packages straight to your TV. SD Installs can set up streaming services such as Netflix / Amazon Prime and the free Apps such as BBCI player, ITVX ETC so all that’s left for you to do is decide what you want to watch first. No job is too small.

Testing & Inspections

Having poor TV reception is frustrating, especially if you don’t know what’s causing it. That’s where our troubleshooting service can help. I have years of testing and inspection experience so I can diagnose your TV or aerial problems quickly. Digital signal levels (MUX) being received at the user end have to be within certain tolerances otherwise having to much signal rather than not enough can have the same effect. Every installation or service call is checked with a spectrum analyser and adjusted accordingly.

Services & Repairs

Don’t let poor quality pictures or lost channels ruin your viewing experience. I offer a full service of your aerial systems to find and repair any faults. If you have an older type of wideband aerial (no such thing as a digital aerial)and your viewing is spoilt by pixelation or the dreaded “No signal” Message this could be down to 4/5g interference from a nearby mast. or simply the existing system is worn out. An aerial upgrade or filters can be fitted to resolve this. I’m equipped with the tools to tackle your signal issues to get you up and running again in no time.

Multi-Room

If you want more TV viewing options throughout your home, then I can install extra TV points or control your main subscription box in other rooms with HDMI distribution over cat5/6 cabling . There are different ways to do this depending on your requirements and signal strength. I’ll always fully discuss all options with you.

Covering first hours labour – excluding parts. This price reflects on the Knowledge and wealth of experience we have. If you have a issue with your existing aerial or Satellite system, We usually carry out the repair within the hour.

TV Installation & Tutorial

TV installation and tutorial, on an existing stand (not wall mounted).

Are you making a purchase online or from a large retail outlet? Did you know these outlets offer installation but have a set time to carry out the work (around 35-45 minutes)?

SD Installs offer the same service but are not time constrained.

Ethernet / Networking

Ethernet and networking point installation services from your existing router.

Are you working from home and suffering with poor WIFI signal as your work station or office is on the opposite side of the property to your Router. SD Installs can offer various solutions ,Wireless access point (WAP) Data points or installing a mesh System to solve this.

Freesat Installation

From £150

Supply and fit a complete new Freesat dish / quad or Wideband LNB with a single or Twin feed for connection to your Tv or Freesat recorder box. A Wideband LNB will allow you to record 3 Programmes at once and watch a 4th. With a Hybrid LNB installed, it’s possible to run 6 feeds off one dish, Two feeds to support Wideband (SKY Q or a the new Freesat recorder) and four feeds left to support (Legacy) tv’s with Freesat or Satellite tuners built in or the older style Freesat boxes.

Aerial Installation

From £200

Wall mount or chimney mounted Aerial too one point or existing distribution box.
Digital specification cable, galvanized chimney or wall bracket and heavy duty mast used on every aerial installation. WHY? If you have received a cheaper quote, the installer may well be using painted wall or chimney brackets , steel masts or budget aerials and cable. With inferior parts installed , these will eventually rust , causing staining to Rendered property walls or cladding. A correctly installed aerial should last 10-15 years plus. Extra TV points can be installed from £85. This will depend on whether the signal can be split (a signal meter and diagnostics test will be carried out to determine this beforehand) or a cable can be taken from an existing amplifier or a new amplifier (extra cost) will need to be installed to maintain signal quality.
